The morning tour lasts About 5.5 hours and the full north day lasts About 10 hours. The morning tour price includes:

Why does a private tour cost more than a group seat?
A private tour costs more because nothing is shared: the car, the driver, the guide and the boat are booked for one group for the whole morning. A group tour spreads those costs across a full minibus, which is how a seat can sell for US$44.
Group tours also earn part of their day from shop stops. Pepper farms, bee farms and pearl farms in Phu Quoc are free to enter and make their money from sales, which is why shared north-island tours stop at one or more of them. Our tours skip those stops unless a guest asks for one.
Timing is the last difference, and it costs nothing extra to understand. Shared tours usually reach Rach Vem around midday for lunch, while the water at the sandbar is clearest in the morning. Which option is the best value for your group?
